Welcome to Inverted Strength! We are a Gymnastics Based Functional Fitness and Nutrition company located in Broomfield Colorado.

Currently offering in person personal training, sports performance, as well as virtual training sessions. We can also design custom fitness programming around your specific goals or needs!

Inverted Strength is for the athlete who has some experience in the functional fitness world but would like to to improve it certain areas such as strength, agility, technique and stamina! We also offer programs for anyone new to the fitness space just looking to get fit and healthy.

We also offer custom nutrition programs to suit your needs specializing in athletic performance, weight loss or weight gain, as well as options for those suffering from autoimmune conditions.

About

A little about me: Coach Kat

I grew up in a rural town in Maine where I was a competitive gymnast until I had a sudden growth spurt at the age of 16. I continued my high school athletic career on the track and field team where I competed in triple jump, long jump, high jump as well as sprinting the 100m, 200m and anchoring the 4x100m relay team. After high school I competed Division 1 Track and Field at Colorado State University specializing in triple, long and high jump and placed multiple times at the mountain west conference championships. After college I stumbled around for several years trying to find my next athletic endeavor. I tried the “running thing” by participating in several 5k and 10Ks, even completed a half and full marathon. After the marathon I joined the circus (literally) and performed as an aerial acrobat for several years before finally finding Functional Fitness in 2013. I originally began to maintain my upper body strength for aerial acrobatics, but fell in love with the sport and the community and haven’t looked back!

In 2020 after my local gym closed it’s physical location I spent several months trying to figure out what i was going to do, or how I was going to help coach athletes in the community, particularly with a focus on core foundational gymnastics movements in the functional fitness world. I soon realized that I was destined to develop my own fitness company, and in August of 2020 “Inverted Strength”was born!

Over the last 3 years Inverted Strength has evolved to help athletes from all walks of life! From equestrian vaulters to high school sports performance, and even elite athletes in the functional fitness and olympic weight lifting world. I am able to customize a plan that will help you achieve your fitness goals. In addition to fitness I am also a Certified Nutrition Coach specializing in programs for athletic performance, weight loss or gain, and even options for those who suffer from autoimmune conditions.
